Adventure Kids March Moments
Sundays, During Service (in children’s area downstairs)
Kids aged 0 to 10 (or 5th grade)! Come join us on Sunday mornings during the service!
Some things you can expect this month:
The continuation of the creation story with lots of opportunities for hands on interaction with all that God has made (each week builds on the last so don’t miss a Sunday!) This is how we are preparing for Easter.
The first Sunday of March we will be planting flowers!
The second Sunday we are making sensory calming bottles.
The 3rd and 4th Sundays we will be making crafts that connect with the 5th and 6th days of creation. /
We continue to make changes to our kid’s area that create more flow and interaction. It has been fun so far! We now have a “working” sink for washing hands. This month we will be creating a story/sensory room.
Our snack rhythm for March
1st Sunday: Bread baking
2nd Sunday: Oatmeal
3rd Sunday: Vegetable Soup day or rice day
4th Sunday: Cooking with Cara and Noelle! (They bring in really cool vegan stuff to expand our kids palates - in February we had awesome smoothies!)
You don’t want your kids to miss a single Sunday. So many good things are happening. Most especially, the opportunity to meet Christ by being known and loved in community with one another.
